Male Atoll Kaafu Atoll

The Malé Atoll is a natural atoll of the Maldives. It consists of two separate atolls, the North Malé Atoll and South Malé Atoll .

Malé, the capital of the Maldives is at the southern end of North Male Atoll. The only international Airport of the Maldives is located on the island of Hulhule.

Maldives Tourism

Almost all the islands of Male 'Atoll were during the last two decades of the 20th Century uninhabited. Only in 1972, the Maldives have opened for international tourism and founded until 1999, Maldives Tourist Board, which supports the marketing. Today they are among the established long-haul destinations and are visited by Europeans, Asians and Russians like.
